Shipping and Returns Policy

The Messy Vegan Pantry offers a free shipping policy on orders over R600 Country Wide.

Please note if your shipping value exceeds 35% of the cart total, the free shipping will not be valid as rural areas and some other parts of SA shipping have higher rates. If this happens please contact us and we work this out with you.

We work closely with our courier partners to makes sure all of the country is covered and your purchase reaches you safely and in good order. Please note: our couriers work weekdays only. We cannot guarantee that the shipping provider will meet the specified shipping times. In the rare and unfortunate event that an order is lost, we will make every effort to ensure lost orders are compensated for. Our standard resolution period is 7 working days from notice of a lost order.


Our returns policy has a time limit of 7 days.  If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we will not be able to offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Subject to the conditions stated below:

Refunds (if applicable):

Once we have received and inspected your returned product, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund request.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable):

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Preparing your products for a return:

To ensure your request is processed as quickly as possible you are responsible for the following when returning your products;

  • package your products safely and securely for protection during transit;
  • clearly mark your return reference number on the outside of the parcel
Failure to adhere to any of these requirements could delay the processing of your request or result in its decline altogether.
